At the 50th Annual Retina Society Scientific Meeting, this poster—supported by The Macula Foundation and presented by Dr. Jorge Andres Orellana Rios—reported the presenting features and long-term outcomes in a series of children affected by best vitelliform macular dystrophy and complicated by choroidal neovascularization. They were treated with intravitreal injections of anti-VEGF with excellent final visual acuity.
To the best of our knowledge, these patients are among the youngest and have the longest follow-up after intravitreal injections of anti-VEGF ever reported in the literature.
