Idiopathic Macular Telangiectasia Type 2

Macular Telangiectasia is a relatively uncommon but well-known disease involving the retinal circulation in the central macula. The Macula Foundation investigators have done numerous clinical studies on this disorder, focusing on its causative factors or pathogenesis, its clinical and imaging features, and its treatment. Two of the Foundation’s leading investigators have made several important discoveries in the nature of this disease, as well as its epidemiological figures.
